'John Lennon ~ New York City' a bronze dark brown patinated sculpture on a polished stone plinth by Kenneth Carter (1928-2007) signed and numbered 9/15 H 425mm x W 370mm x D 305mm. An example of the edition was exhibited in bronze resin at The Royal Academy of Arts 1981 Summer Exhibition, exhibit number: 896.  The image is based on a photograph taken on a rooftop in New York on the 29th August 1974 by Bob Gruen (born 1945).
