Mark has a BA hons degree which included a 1st Class thesis 'The use of Cartoons in Education' and until fairly recently he shared his time for his painting vocation between Broadcast TV design, animation, illustration and commercial art. Many of his pieces are Surreal and are both painterly as well as being highly detailed.

In 2021-2022 his paintings were exhibited at the Royal Society of British Artists, Mall Galleries, London.

In 2023 his paintings were selected/exhibited in 'Artist Magazine' exhibition: Patchings Art Festival

In 2024 his painting was shortlisted for the New English Art Club, Mall Galleries, London.

In 2024 his paintings were selected/exhibited in 'Artist Magazine' exhibition: Patchings Art Festival a winner of the award 'Lost Mojo'

In 2025 his paintings were selected/exhibited in 'Artist Magazine' exhibition: Patchings Art Festival
