About Us

Michael Wood founded the business in 1967 offering Contemporary, 20th & 19th Century paintings, watercolours, original prints, sculptures, ceramics and works of art. He has a particular interest in the work of Robert Oscar Lenkiewicz (1940-2002) holding a large selection of Project and Non-Project pieces and is the longest established dealer in the world for his work.

The website is new to us and an ongoing process. The works in stock and on show in the gallery are all owned by the gallery and are some several thousand items available to view. It would be best to make an appointment with an indication of your interests. We would then make appropriate selections in advance of your visit and a whole afternoon be reserved for your private viewing. With some artists we would have a wide period of work and hold between fifty and a hundred pieces. The plan is to list all the artists we hold but that will clearly take time and if you don't see the artist or work you are lookimg for it would be best to contact us and we will search our stock that is not as yet on the website. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you; knowing that with over fifty six years of experience in the art world we should be able help you to start, add or complete your collection.
